GOSPELGRAM

 

The couplet goes like this - “April showers bring May flowers”. Can we depend on this orderly sequence of activity in spite of global warming?

 

Nature created by the Great Spirit or God could be relied upon to do exactly as it was designed to do since the start of known time. As humankind evolved an ever so slight change began to happen. April did not change. Its original intent by Creation continued in place. After thousands of years the interplay between April’s original creative intent and humankind’s original design with the caveat of free will, April was not able to go with the flow of humankind since its Creative intent was fixed.

 

It began to appear as though April was changing. Actually, humankind could have taken a page from April, studied it for the purpose of understanding its relationship to the world around it. It could have asked questions such as, “Are there any dependencies of one kind or another in the created world around it? Exactly what does April have to depend on for those showers to make their appearance on time anyway?

 

Since that did not appear to happen, there have been unexpected fluctuations in the weather cycle and all things related to the atmosphere that would signal to April it is time do one of the things you were created to do…rain.

 

Now it seems those flowers in May might appear in all their glory as in any other season or not so much.
