Let it be love?
Is February really the month of love? Or can any month be the month of love?
Like so many holidays or dates of recognition it is more about giving each of us the opportunity to focus on what the date or day is really about. Without these
reminders one day would simply roll into the next and every day would be no different than the day before or the day that is to come.
There are days and dates that are carved into our memory banks that we can choose to be our personal day of recognition and we will reflect, do something in
remembrance or decide it is not useful to continue focusing on the day anymore.
From a spiritual perspective we can decide to make a day one of letting go one of those personal recognition times. These are “days in consciousness” in which we
remember with regularity fears we hold that are a denial of the Truth of our Being. We hold on to fears about health, finances, relationships that become predicable because we remember them over and over again.
Isn’t time we faced that fear and instead affirm our oneness in the Creative flow that tells us that we are born in the image and likeness of what we call God and
therefore we are more the sum total of our beliefs based in fear? The adage of “what comes around goes around” is not necessarily so especially if it deals with negative beliefs held that have become ingrained in consciousness about the generation that has gone before.
If you were told repeatedly, you are no better than your father and you will never be, with example after example whatever came around will definitely come around in
the life choices
that will be presented to you. It is time to let go that image of yourself and lean into the image of God defined as love and all that was created out of love is
love.
Begin to send forth that energy into your world in thought until the image of yourself as less negative and returns to you no more. Yes, February can be the month of
love.
It’s up to you!
Blessings
