GOSPELGRAM
Are We There Yet?
A
family is having a beautiful drive in the summer. After about an hour a child’s voice from the back seat says, “Are we there yet?”
During the 18 months of COVID-19 many voices could be heard saying, “What are the symptoms? When will we have a vaccine? When do get rid of gloves, masks, and the use of hand sanitizer every 15 minutes? When will it be over?”
Are we there yet?”
Democracy is self-governance. We the people. For the people. By the people. Then there’s the political right, the religious right, human rights, LBGTQ rights
“Are we there yet?”
There is no “there”. There is only growing to get there. The idea of “getting there” is the eternal transcendent natural urge in you that is continually pushing you to come up higher. You want to know what’s next. What is the next
experience for my spiritual and human growth.
Human curiosity can be misleading sometimes and can be mistaken for just another day in life when actually it is an invitation to spiritual transcendent curiosity. A moment in time when you are privileged to give birth a deeper understanding of your relationship to whatever you call God and the universe you live in.
Once you give birth you open the door to where your curiosity will lead you next. It never ends because you never end. You continue your eternal journey of opening the doors to many mansions not all made by hand but all eternal in the heavens.
