GOSPELGRAM June 2023 #1
RELEASE YOUR SPLENDOR…just like roses in June.
I know a person whose whole garden was devoted to planting, cultivating, pruning, and sharing roses from her garden year after year. Her backyard was filled with the beauty and fragrance of roses. She patiently tended to them until by instinct they released their petals to make room for the next rose to come forth.
This careful tending by the gardener assists the roses in doing their inner work instinctively. Nothing interferes with the free unfolding of who and what the rose is by design. The Creator
established it this way.
The Creator also established in mankind an unfolding process of splendor. The challenge for us
is to find the process to do this magnificent work. As the rose willingly surrenders to the assistance of the gardener and allows its splendor to come forth, we too must surrender our free will to the process.
The message of the rose is that we not determine the process or where it is. We must be open to the many “assists” around us and like the rose we will instinctively become aware of the gardener within. As the rose responds to the process of unfolding instinctively, we too will respond.
The rose sheds its petals (up to 25 on a single rose) each carrying its fragrance and landing where it is most needed. When we are ready to shed our “petals of fragrance” such as love, faith, understanding, harmony, peace, joy,
we will know the places they are most needed.
In this month of June RELEASE your splendor.
