Unity In Harlem continues its African American History Month celebration with a presentation on Samori Toure, who was a Malinke Muslim cleric, military strategist, and founder of the Wassoulou Empire. A deeply religious Muslim of the Maliki school of religious jurisprudence of Sunni Islam, Toure resisted French colonial rule in West Africa . Don’t miss this inspiring presentation by Rev.
