It can be agreed up that every New Year has elements of optimism and expectations. I think it can be assumed that some of us attempt to tone down our expectation with the spoken phrase…” expect the worst and hope for the
best”. This works if the intention is not to disappoint one’s self, hoping for the best and every day of the year gets worse.
As Truth students, it is never about the worst because even in the mix of isolation, pain, and mistrust of the past year or for others past years the, “worse” has at its center the still point of clarity. At the Center of
the storm there is absolute quite and when the surroundings become still the answer appears.
For many, February 2021 is still the “worst”. What can be new is to be on the look out for the Center of the current storm and explore whether or not there is stillness and quiet. If so the answer, “the best” is already
